(Danville, VA) – Danville Community College has just announced the first of two new members to their Board of Directors.
Sheila Baynes was appointed by the City of Danville to a serve a four-year term, which began on July 1st. Baynes, who works at Williams, Luck and Williams, is a Middle Border Forward Fellow, a graduate of Leadership Southside, and serves on the boards of Goodwill and Haven of the Dan River Region. She replaces Carrie Ashe who has completed her four-year-term. The Halifax County Board of Supervisors will appoint the second new member, as a replacement for Valdivia Hall, who recently finished HER term on the DCC Board.
