(Danville, Va.) – A 14-year-old has been charged in a pawn shop burglary in which firearms were stolen.

Police tell the Danville Register and Bee that a teenager has been charged with burglary, larceny of firearms, property damage, petty larceny, criminal street gang participation, curfew violation and possession of a stolen firearm.

He is charged in the July 13 burglary of Deluxe Pawn shop on Westover Drive. Thieves broke the front door glass and entered the store, taking guns valued at $3,500.

Authorities offered a $6,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction the individuals involved in the theft.

The suspect’s name was not released because of his age.
