(Franklin County, Va.) – Two children were injured in a boating accident on Smith Mountain Lake Saturday afternoon.

Smith Mountain Lake Fire and Rescue Squad responded to scene and treated two children. The children were on a tube being pulled by a jet ski when the tube struck a boat dock.

One was airlifted to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Their conditions were not available.
