(Danville, Va.) — Two men were shot in an incident that happened Saturday afternoon at a busy Danville intersection.

Police were called to the Pit Stop gas station in the 1300 block of Piney Forest road at 4:30 p.m. Saturday after receiving a report of shots fired. Two men were found suffering from what police describe as non life-threatening gunshot wounds. Both were transported to Sovah Health Hospital, where they were treated for their injuries. Their names and conditions were not available.

Police cordoned off the station with yellow crime scene tape as the shootings were investigated.

No charges have been filed to this point but police say they are continuing their investigation.
