(Danville, VA) – A group of Liberty University Students were in Danville yesterday, helping to clean up debris from Sunday’s EFI tornado that caused millions of dollars in damage in the city and Pittsylvania County.  Eighteen students from Liberty’s Disaster Response Team helped crews remove trees and debris from homes and businesses along Westover Drive and other parts of the area.  Liberty is planning a campus-wide day of service on Saturday, so the students plan to continue helping in the Danville area until then.
