(Danville, Va.) — A Danville grand jury has indicted 24 year-old Marshall Sylvan Silver Jr. on one count of first degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in the death of 55 year-old Allan Wright.

On July 5, 2018 at 7:03AM, the Danville Police Department responded to the 200 block of Clement Avenue and discovered the body 55-year-old Allan Wright of Danville in the yard of a Clement Avenue home. The investigation found that Wright died from a gunshot wound.

Silver, also of Danville, was arrested July 12 without incident and was indicted for murder on Tuesday. He remains in the Danville city jail under no bond.
