BURLINGTON, N.C. – Three people are dead in Burlington, N.C. following an apparent double murder-suicide.

Police were called to a home on Adams Street in Burlington Sunday afternoon and found two men and a woman dead of gunshot wounds.

They aren’t saying who pulled the trigger but say two of the victims has been involved in a relationship previously.

The victims are identified as 47-year-old Dana Underwood and 43-year-old Tyson Bennett, both of Burlington, and 46-year-old Anthony Fitcher of South Carolina.

Burlington Police say this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community.

Officers responded to the home just after 3:30 Sunday afternoon.
