CHATHAM, Va. – Pittsylvania County sheriff’s deputies are going door-to-door to help the elderly during the coronavirus outbreak.

The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office will be picking up and delivering pre-paid medications and other essential items to the elderly and shut-in residents in an effort to provide a means to eliminate the risk of exposure and control the spread of the coronavirus starting Monday, March 30.
