DANVILLE, VA. – The Virginia Department of Health is reporting two additional cornavirus cases in the Danville area, bringing the total number in the Pittsylvania-Danville Health District to 13. Out of those cases, there has been one death in Pittsylvania County.

The revised figures are contained in the VHD’s Monday morning tally.

Throughout the commonwealth, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 increased by 241 for a total of 2,878.

54 people have died across Virginia and 497 have been hospitalized.
