Richmond, Va. – The number of coronavirus-related deaths in Virginia topped 50 on Sunday.
The Virginia Department of Health reports 51 deaths as of April 5. That’s one less than the state agency reported a day earlier.
431 people have been hospitalized throughout the commonwealth. That’s more than 200 new cases in 24 hours. 23,671 have been tested for the virus in Virginia.
No new cases were reported in Danville and Pittsylvania County during the past 24 hours.
