(Henry County, Va.) — The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the man who is believed to have robbed a Fieldale convenience store earlier in the week.

45-year-old Troy Jerome Watkins of Martinsville is charged with robbery in the incident.

Deputies responded to Roberts Bestway around 9:15 Tuesday night after a man man entered the store and tried to make a purchase, but during the transaction he reached under his shirt to show a gun. The clerk said the robber then reached into the cash register and grabbed cash before fleeing in a light-colored, four-door sedan.
