(Danville, Va.) – It didn’t take Danville Police long to locate a missing Alzheimer’s patient.

An appeal was issued Sunday afternoon for information concerning 84-year-old Ira Dallas, who had last been seen around 1 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Memorial Drive and Monroe Street.

Police cancelled the alert within an hour and said Dallas had been located, unharmed.
