(Danville, Va.) — At a press conference Thursday afternoon, US Attorney for the Western District of Virginia Thomas Cullen, surrounded by members of state and local authorities announced the arrest of 18 individuals associated with local gang activity earlier in the day.

The arrests and indictments include alleged members of both the Milla’s and the Rollin 60’s.

Charges on the 2 indictments include racketeering, murder, attempted murder, and multiple firearms charges. The Milla’s are a set of the Bloods Street gang and have been operating in the Danville area since 2015.  The Rollin 60’s are a set affiliated with the Crips who have also been operating in the Danville Area since 2015.

The arrests cap an 18-month, undercover investigation involving local, state and federal authorities.
