(Martinsville, Va.) – Martinsville Police are looking for the man who shot a neighbor on Sunday.

Investigators say 41-year old Donrell Markese Rucker got into an argument with 25-year old Lavonna Giles and shot her in the leg.

The Martinsville/Henry County 911 Center got a call of a shooting on Cedarwood Court in Martinsville. When deputies arrived, they found Giles with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Rucker, also of Martinsville, is charged with wounding, use of a firearm during commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a violent felon.

Anyone with information on Rucker’s whereabouts is asked to call the Henry County Sheriff’s Department.
