(Pittsylvania County, Va.) — Penhook Fire and Rescue responded to an accident on Yorkshire Drive Monday night after a woman fell out of the back of a pickup truck, striking her head.

The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Department confirms that the woman was air lifted to the hospital. Rescue workers responded to the call came in just before 11:00 p.m. on Monday.

The woman was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Her condition was not available.
