(Danville, Va.) — BGF is locating its corporate headquarters in Danville.

The announcement was made Tuesday at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research and represents a $7 million investment and 65 new jobs with an average annual salary of $75,000.

BGF is involved with the aerospace and composites industry.

BGF is relocating from Greensboro to Danville and will build a 25,000-square-foot facility next year in the Cyber Park. The building will serve as its headquarters and research and development facility.

The company has manufacturing facilities in Virginia and South Carolina, with a total of 800 employees.

BGF received a sizable grant from the Tobacco Commission and will work with the Institute and Danville Community College.
