Danville, Va. – Hundreds lined Main Street in Danville Sunday afternoon as Southside Virginia paid tribute to America’s veterans.

Veterans of past wars were joined by ROTC units, marching bands, emergency responders, local politicians and a large contingent of scouts, male and female.

Flag-waving children greeted the veterans as they moved slowly down Main Street to the River District, where the procession disbursed.
