FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. – Authorities have located the body of a Franklin County man who had been missing for three weeks.

Keith Bentford Perdue was last seen Feb 2. His abandoned truck was located earlier but searchers had been unable to locate his body until Sunday, when they discovered the remains in some woods near a creek not far from Purdue’s home.

The identification found on the body was Perdue’s and the remains have been sent to the medical examiner’s office.

Sheriff’s investigators say they do not suspect foul play in his death.
