ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, N.C. – A Danville man charged with a string of supermarket robberies in Virginia and North Carolina has been indicted in Rockingham County, North Carolina.

38-year-old Larry Wayne Inge is charged with five robberies following his arrest on January 31. He was arrested by Reidsville Police after the Food Lion on US 29 Business in Reidsville was robbed.

Inge was linked to three robberies of Love’s Travel Stop and the robbery of the Quality Mart in Rockingham County. Inge faces two more robbery charges in Burlington, N.C. He is also a suspect in the January robbery of the Food Lion in Gretna, Virginia.

Inge is being held in the Rockingham County Jail under a $500,000 secured bond.
