DANVILLE, Va. – Danville Police are asking the public for help in finding a woman who is missing and in need of her medication.

39-year-old Melissa Doss of Danville has not been seen in two weeks and was reported as a missing person on Wednesday.

Doss was last seen around Altavista, where police say she had been in contact with extended family members as recently as mid-week. Because of her medication need, her family is concerned for her safety.

Police say their information indicates Doss left home on her own, driving her White Chevrolet Malibu, with the last four digits on her license plate being 5067.
