PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. – A Ringgold man has died from injuries suffered in a car crash last Thursday.

Virginia State Police say 46-year-old Andrew L. Henderson was killed in a single-vehicle accident on Rt. 726, the Ringgold Depot Road, near its intersection with Sandy Creek Church Road.

According to state police, Henderson’s 2010 Kia Sedona was headed west on 726 when it ran off the right side of the road, went down an embankment and struck a tree. Henderson was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle.

He was  transported to Sovah Health Danville, where he died of his injuries.
