The Pittsylvania County Planning Commission has recommended approval for the 58 East Data Center. The proposed data center would be constructed on over 900 acres just east of Danville.
The proposed data center would create around 500 high paying jobs. It’s estimated that the data center will generate about $200 million a year in tax revenue for Pittsylvania County. The Board of Zoning Appeals will now vote on the proposed data center in November.
