DANVILLE, Va. – Two men have been arrested and charged with a Dec. 19 attack against a Danville woman.
36-year-old LaChristopher Lee Mays and 44-year-old Keith Wendell Starling, both of Danville, are charged with grand larceny. Mays is also charged with malicious wounding.
The Danville woman was tied up in her home, struck with a baseball bat and robbed. According to the Danville Register and Bee, the victim was treated in the emergency room for a large laceration on the back of her head.
The pair allegedly took multiple items from her Wagner Street home, including a gaming system, a laptop computer and jewelry.
Mays and Starling are being held in the Danville City Jail.
Police say this was not a random attack and that the victim knew one of the men.
