May is here and we have another WBTM/Danville Dental Associates Superstar of the Month to bring to your undivided attention. She is Mikayla Ragsdale and her letter of nomination has been submitted by her proud mom…Lisa Adams.
Mikayla is married to Elder Travon Ragsdale. My daughter does not have biological children, but she is a foster mom to two incredible youngsters…one eight, the other three. She is a missionary at Greater Deliverance Church. She sings in the choir. Her love and passion for education is amazing! At age 10, Mikayla’s dream was to become an educator. At age 17, she taught adult students at Rockingham Community College. She graduated from UNC-G and went on to receive her Masters Degree from Liberty University. Mikayla is now the principal at E A Gibson. And even though she holds that title, Mikayla never takes a summer break, she loves to jump into the classroom and teach summer school. Her work ethic is exemplary. The love she has for students is truly personal. No child left behind is her motto. She is loved by all who know her. This honor could not go to a more deserving person.
