No injuries were reported during a fire in Danville on Monday night. The Danville Fire Department responded to the reported structure fire at 516 Elizabeth St.

The first arriving unit found a residence with heavy smoke and fire showing from the rear of the residence.  Crews began fire extinguishment, searched the home for any occupants, and ventilated the home.

The Danville Fire Department was assisted on scene by the Danville Life Saving Crew, Danville Electric Dept, Danville Water & Gas, and Danville Police Dept.  The residence sustained heavy damage.  The Danville Fire Marshal’s office responded to investigate and the cause of the fire will be reported upon the completion of the investigation.
