A smoke advisory has been issued for Northern Danville today. Smoke may visible today in the norther part of Danville from a debris pile of logs, limbs, wood chips, and mulch burning off Parker Forest Trail, just outside the city limits.
The Danville Fire Department is aware of the situation and is keeping a close eye on it. The fire is contained and is not threatening homes or other structures.
As a precaution, residents with respiratory issues may want to stay indoors. The fire was reported on Monday afternoon.
