Here is the situation report for Danville at 7 a.m. Tuesday:

•  A major concern this morning is black ice on roadways. Drivers and pedestrians should use caution.
• The current temperature in Danville is 11 degrees with the high today expected to be 35 degrees. A Cold Weather Advisory remains in effect until 12 pm.
• The Temporary Relief & Counseling Center (TRCC) at 625 Shelton St. is operating a 24-hour warming center for any resident or visitor in need of shelter.
• The Police Department reports one weather-related accident overnight.
• Public Works crews worked overnight in residential neighborhoods, switching to spreading sand when low temperatures made plowing ineffective. Crews continue to work a round-the-clock operation.
• Danville Utilities reports 28 power outages affecting 28 customers.
• Danville Transit will begin bus operations at 10 a.m. Fixed route buses will run their normal routes.
• Danville Regional Airport remains closed.
