Average gas prices across Virginia are up by 4 cents this week to $3.88 a gallon, according to AAA, while the average price of gas across the county is also up by 4 cents this week to $3.99.

The average price of gas in Danville is up by 4 cents this week to $3.68, while the average in Pittsylvania County rose by  8 cents this week to $3.78 a gallon. The average price in Martinsville is also up by 8 cents this week to $3.80 a gallon and in Henry County the average price climbed up by 9 cents this week to $3.75 a gallon. The average price in Halifax County is up by a penny this week to $3.78 a gallon.
