With April showers comes a ray of sunshine with our WBTM/Danville Dental Associates Superstar of the Month in the form of Pastor Chris Robertson of Axton Baptist Church…letter submitted anonymously.

Chris has been a big influence on many lives in our area…from being the former boy’s Bible teacher at Westover Christian, to carefully guiding and providing a positive Christian male influence on young men, to his current position as pastor of Axton Baptist Church leading his congregation in Biblical truth, kindness, and love.

Chris is the real deal…in practicing what he preaches…literally. Whenever a member is in the hospital, he’s there for prayer and motivation. If someone is in need of advice, or how to handle a tough situation, Chris is a Facebook message, text, or phone call away ready with scripture and words of comfort for every scenario. Even during the recent ice and snowstorms of February, where the area was shut down for a period of time, Chris not only offered teachings for his congregation, but also made himself available to assist with any needs…food, medications, etc., for those who didn’t have the ability to get out due to road conditions.

I feel strongly Chris Robertson is a true example of a superstar for many reasons.
