It looks like the southside will get a lot of snow this weekend. According to the latest projections from the National Weather Service in Blacksburg, there is currently an 82% chance that Danville will receive at least five inches of snow this weekend.

Most of the southside currently has at least an 80% chance of getting at least five inches of snow this weekend. The northwestern part of Pittsylvania County currently has at least a 90% chance of receiving at least five inches of snow, while the southern part of Halifax County has at least a 70% chance.
