A Winter Storm Warning is now in effect for our area from 1  pm on Saturday to 1 pm on Monday. According to the National Weather Service, there is a 40% chance of precipitation starting on Saturday afternoon.

On Saturday night, snow and sleet before 1 am, then sleet, possibly mixed with snow and freezing rain between 1 am and 4 am, then freezing rain and sleet after 4 am. The chance of precipitation is 100% with ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. New snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

On Sunday, freezing rain and sleet are projected. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New ice accumulation of 0.1 to 0.3 of an inch possible and new sleet accumulation of around an inch possible.

For Sunday night, freezing rain and sleet before 10 pm, then freezing rain between 10 pm and 4 am, then a chance of snow and freezing rain after 4 am. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New ice accumulation of 0.1 to 0.3 of an inch possible. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
