There were no injuries during a house fire in Danville on Thursday night. The Danville Fire Department responded to the fire at 160 Gardner St. at 11:50 pm.

First arriving units reported moderate smoke coming from the residence.  Fire personnel immediately began fire suppression and also searched the interior of the home for any occupants; none were located inside.

Fire personnel ventilated the home and checked for any fire extension.  The home sustained moderate damage.

The Danville Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire. The Danville Fire Department was assisted on scene by the Danville Life Saving Crew, Danville Electric, and the Danville Police Department.
