Support All Things Local 2025 Campaign

Members in District 8 are metal workers, atomic workers, cement workers, rubber workers, paper workers and health care workers. They build nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers for the United States Navy, and they make wooden bats for some of the best hitters in Major League Baseball. The diverse membership of District 8 has a long and deep history of solidarity that extends across all of the union’s sectors.
“The best thing about the members of District 8 is their willingness to stand up for each other, and to always give back, to make their workplaces and communities better.”
United Steel Workers (USW) and WBTM want to remind you that when you spend your money with local businesses, you help provide police and fire protection, street repairs and trash collection.
And when you donate to local charities like Danville Salvation Army, you are continuing to better our community and ensuring the youth (our city’s future) will help this area thrive because of your good will!
This Support All Things Local campaign is supported by A1 Custom Window Tinting and Economy Glass, Custom Embroidery & Screen Printing and Popeyes.
