(Caswell County, N.C.) – Two men have been arrested and a third is being sought in a home invasion on Hightower’s Road in Mebane, N.C.

Deputies were called to a home invasion in progress on Wednesday and found a man fleeing into the woods.

A grey vehicle fled the area at a high rate of speed. Deputies tried to stop the car and a chase ensued.

The vehicle continued into Orange County, where the driver lost control and was arrested after a brief foot chase. Deputies used K-9’s to locate a second man walking on Gunn Poole Road.

Investigators charged James Alexander Long-Booker and Maurice Jamar Miles – both 25 — with felony burglary and robbery. Miles is also charged with speeding to elude arrest.

Both are being held in the Caswell County jail under a $500,000 bond and will make their first court appearances on August 2.

The sheriff’s office is still looking for a third suspect, who has dreadlocks, and was wearing a black shirt with dark colored pants.
