(South Boston, Va.) — South Boston Police are investigating an armed robbery at a South Boston convenience store that has been hit by thieves three times over the past 13 months.

Officers were called to the Apple Mary on Seymour Drive just after 11 p.m. Friday.

A man entered the store, showed a gun, and demanded money. The man fled the store after taking an undetermined amount of cash.

The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office responded and assisted with a K-9 unit to look for the robber.
