(Reidsville, N.C.) – Reidsville Police are investigating a Wednesday morning shooting and stabbing that left two dead. A third person was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries.

Officers were called to a home in the 700 block of Lawsonville Avenue just before 11 a.m. Police found three victims, two of whom were deceased and one in critical condition.

Investigators have not released the victims’ names or any details surrounding the incident. Authorities said they were looking at some “potential suspects” in the double murder and are being assisted by the State Bureau of Investigation.

Reidsville detectives investigated throughout the day and officers blocked the road as police canvassed the neighborhood. The investigation is ongoing.
