HENRY COUNTY, Va. – Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal accident that happened in the 2200 block of Old Chatham Road in Henry County.

Trooper M.S. Zola responded to a single-vehicle accident about 3 p.m. Tuesday. He found a vehicle had run off the road, ending up in a ditch. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and may have suffered a medical emergency. The driver’s name has not been released.

The crash remains under investigation.
