Southside Virginia Community College `was one of several Virginia colleges closing down on Tuesday because of a bomb threat. Police say they learned of the threat just before noon and the campus was evacuated. Buildings were searched but no bomb was found. College officials say campuses will reopen today on a regular schedule. So far there’s been no word on an arrest for the threats.
