Our Danville Dental Associates Citizen of the Month for March 2023 – Judy Simmons
It’s time to announce the new WBTM/Danville Dental Associates Citizen of the Month…we are saluting Judy Simmons…letter of nomination submitted by Deana Lacks.
Judy is very active in the community, always lending a helping hand to any number of organizations. As a breast cancer survivor, she lends her time and talents to the Cancer Society. Look for her at the God’s Pit Crew warehouse filling blessing buckets for those in need. She is always volunteering with Parks & Rec to help them with their many events from collecting tickets, waiting on tables, to whatever is needed. She is a member of the Compassion Church in Axton, where she finds herself in charge of their food pantry. If there are those lacking nourishment, they won’t be for long. It’ll be Judy and the Compassion Food Pantry to the rescue. Judy can see someone walking down the street, and if they appear in need, she’ll pullover to see if she can help.
Judy is always smiling, chatting, and never meeting a stranger. She can’t stand still for a minute…always helping and doing. Judy has a big heart and I truly feel she deserves this special honor and recognition for all she gives and does, never looking for anything in return.
Deana Lacks thank you for bringing Judy to our undivided attention, as we certainly agree with your assessment…for she is truly a blessing to our community. Let it be known far and wide that Judy Simmons is our new WBTM/Danville Dental Associates Citizen of the Month!
