Average gas prices across Virginia dropped by a penny this week compared to last week to $2.83 a gallon, according to AAA, while the average price of gas across the county is up by two cents this week to $2.92.

The average price of gas in Danville dropped by a penny this week to $2.66, while the average in Pittsylvania County is up by two cents this week to $2.75 a gallon. The average price in Martinsville climbed up by seven cents this week to $2.79 a gallon and in Henry County the average price is up by a penny this week at $2.70 a gallon. The average price in Halifax County remained the same this week at $2.77 a gallon.
