(Abingdon, Va.) – A Ringgold man faces multiple felony counts in a home invasion that happened nearly four years ago in Southwest Virginia.

24-year-old Robert Steven Fuller was charged by Washington County police with aggravated assault, burglary and criminal conspiracy for an incident that happened in 2013.

Police said Fuller and two other men broke into an apartment and attacked a man who lived there July 28. Investigators say the trio beat the victim with fists and handguns, causing head injuries.

Fuller was arraigned Wednesday afternoon by District Judge Robert Redlinger, who set bond at $20,000.

Fuller was arrested Tuesday and placed in jail without bond, pending extradition to Danville, where he has been wanted since February 2017 on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
