(Eden, N.C.) — Investigators in Rockingham County seized about $75,000 worth of counterfeit hats, belts, jerseys and other items from an Eden business.

A tip to the N.C. Secretary of State’s Office led to an investigation and the seizure at Hats and Things on Washington Street in Eden.

Items seized included NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and college jerseys, hats, and hoodies, as well as Adidas and Nike uniforms, Gucci hats and belts and belts by Yeezy and Burberry.

The sheriff’s office worked with Homeland Security Investigations Task Force and the state Secretary of State’s Office on the investigation.

To this point, no charges have been filed.
