DANVILLE, Va. – The Danville Police Department has located an 86-year-old Alzheimer’s patient after she went missing on Wednesday evening.

Earlier in the night, authorities had asked the public for help in finding Joyce Miller. She was found safely by police Wednesday night and was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

A recorded message from the Danville Police Department late Wednesday night said only that Miller had been located, unharmed.
