Nearly a dozen-and-a-half Democratic House members were among those arrested Tuesday at an abortion rights rally near the U.S. Capitol. Those arrested included the so-called “squad” of Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, Rashida Tlaib and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The demonstration included a march from the Capitol to the Supreme Court. Capitol Police say they warned protestors to clear the street before taking them into custody. The demonstration came more than three weeks after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.
