Charges have been filed against 22-year-old Karissa Dix of Danville, VA in relation to the vandalism at Anglers Park. Her charges include trespassing, reckless driving on private property, and felony malicious damage.

Video footage was recovered of a white dodge charger with burgundy stripes pulling up to the blockages at Anglers Park. A female exited the charger, moved one of the blockades, then entered the parking lot. Upon entering the parking lot, the driver (Ms. Dix) of the charger inflicted damage on the new parking lot for approximately 30 minutes on October 6 at approximately 9:40 p.m.

Ms. Dix was arrested and served all warrants on October 13.
