Roxboro Police are looking for a suspect who they say robbed the Carter Bank and Trust, located at 823 North Main Street, on Wednesday. Police say that, around 2:30 pm, a man walked into the bank and passed the teller a note demanding money.
According to police, no weapons were displayed and no threats were made. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money the man exited the bank.
Police searched the area with canines, along with Person County Sheriff deputies and Roxboro Police officers. The suspect is described as a white male, wearing a grey tee shirt and bluish/grey shorts, and wearing a wide brim beige hat. No arrest has been made.
