Charges are pending following a fatal crash in Pittsylvania County. 57-year-old Robyn Hamlett of Chatham was killed in the crash.

Following the crash charges are now pending against one of the drivers. The man has not been arrested at this time, according to Virginia State Police. The case will likely go before a grand jury.

The accident happened on Iris Lane at 6:03 pm on November 9, just north of Mill Creek Road. A Chevy Silverado was driving south on Iris Lane when it crossed the center line and hit a ford escape head on. 

Hamlett was the driver of the Ford. Speed is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
