A Danville man facing charges that include first degree murder will have a jury trial. Martique Holland faces several charges including first degree murder in the shooting death of Marcus Hairston.

The fatal shooting occurred on May  at Woodside Village Apartments. Officers responded to the 1300 block of Piney Forest Road and found one adult male dead, and two with non-life threatening injuries.. Hairston was pronounced dead at the scene.

Holland’s trial will begin on March 11.
