It’s time to recognize yet another deserving individual for the WBTM/Danville Dental Associates Citizen of the Month. This time it’s Ronnie Mand…letter of nomination submitted by Shakeva Frazier…she, herself, a previous recipient.

Ronnie volunteers for every good cause one can think of. She recently earned the 110% Rotary award, which means she goes over and above what is required in the call of servant-hood. Ronnie also raises money for different non-profits each month with a bucket in which she collects change. Once the bucket reaches at least $100, she donates it to a worth while charity. Some of the non-profits that she has helped include the Cancer Society, Salvation Army, Boys and Girls Club, God’s Storehouse, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Danville Church and Community Tutorial Program, and so many others. She works/volunteers at God’s Storehouse and is always ready to take on the task to help accomplish the mission of feeding the hungry. Ronnie also collects magazines and drops them off at local nursing homes for residents to read. She has been a great advocate for the annual “Thanksgiving Community Feast” held at Bibleway Baptist. Besides being a long time member of Danville Riverview Rotary, she also is in the Wednesday Club…yet another organization with the heart to serve.

I am sure Ronnie does much more than I can possibly ever cover. If volunteering to help your neighbor was a picture, and expecting nothing in return, it would definitely be of Ronnie Mand.

A shining example of selflessness is certainly exemplified by Ronnie. We are absolutely delighted Shakeva Frazier chose to put Ronnie in the spotlight. Ronnie Mand you make us all proud! That having been said…you are the WBTM/Danville Dental Associates Citizen of the Month!
