RiverStreet Networks is hosting a Meet and Greet for those interested in learning more about the high-speed internet service it is offering in Pittsylvania County.

The Meet and Greet will be held Tuesday, April 2, 10 am to 1 pm at the Gretna Library and it is free and open to the public. Representatives from RiverStreet will be on hand to demonstrate how fiber is buried and connected to homes and businesses, the advantages of fiber over other forms of internet, the services and price plans it offers, as well as be available to answer questions and assist in signing up for service.

The Gretna Library is located at 207 Coffey St. in Gretna.

Pittsylvania County has partnered with RiverStreet to bring high speed fiber internet service directly to homes and businesses in underserved areas of the County.

RiverStreet is in the process of installing more than 1,500 miles of fiber optic cable in Pittsylvania County. Fiber optic cable is the most reliable form of internet delivery and offers unparallelled upload and download speeds and unlimited bandwidth at an affordable price.
